Some of the highlights of the training...and various kalokohanS...

Tranining commenced 24th July 2007...Oh please bear with the symmetry, the connection of my damn internet sucks! Most of the pictures are with my batchmates and apparently with my closest Pinoy mafia colleagues--- Rash (my beloved flatmate), My Gummy bear Myra and songbird Annie. Rash and I have taken photos in our first flat in Sahara Al Rousha, wherein I myself preserved lots of good 'ol memories including Gummy's natal day, (thanks for Le Royal Meridien Hotel as the cake sponsor and thanks Holly for dropping by!)my picture at Mercure Hotel, Al Ain (I would guarantee you all, you'll love the view of the emirate of AAN from the top, Gummy's birthday celebration at Hot Plate (hah!Oh how Dora, Marwa and some despise the oily foods) and the pictures from training academy during the last few days of our 'perfect host' training. Please excuse the 'exorcism of Shivani', hek! (The last course of the training coax me to drink, as in alcohol! Now I'm hitting the booze!hik!)

First week fuss... medicals (aww and the needles which i hated most!) and meeting new and fresh acquaitances...

Frankly, do the demo seriously and with full conviction

We don't have the facility yet so better borrow the triple-7 from EK and ditch as if there's a planned emergency.

During the drill, I was drifted into the middle of the pool, gosh I can't even reach for the flooring! 'Twas crazy mehn, I'm catching my breath! Luckily I did manage to get into the raft though it took me millions of minutes!

Meet Diana, a good friend of mine. She doesn't want to admit it but she really cooks well (just prepare your ears, she's a gerger katheer!). We brushed elbows during Popoy and I's flight to AUH, 8th of December, 2006. It was a privilege though.

Frankly, so to speak, this is just the beginning...

Due to health hazards and so as not to jeopardize herself more, Anita Brens (my colleague from Australia) pulled out herself from the limelight.

Holly Little (from AU), who happens to be the youngest in the group also opted to go home to pursue her studies.

Oh John, Scottish John! I'll never forget you calling me SARS, or rather.. Sahhs... with that not so easy to comprehend accent!


The 3 Bulgarians... my favorite, Dora Dora Dora Dora (with a chant that Rash knows), oh gosh avoid her whenever you see her 'coz she'll leave a full kiss mark on your cheek!

Ika- dalawampu't tatlo ng Hulyo taong dalawang libo-pito nang lisanin ng dalawang istranghero ang Pilipinas para makamit ang minimithing pagkakataong ng maraming Pilipino sa ibang bansa. Si Rasha Rosario Gueco Cruz ang mapalad na naiwan (dahil sa *visa) kasama ko. Paano ba nama'y iniwan kami ni Gummy, John Jerry, Von, Colette, Glenn sakay ng Etihad (EY). At antipatika ang unang tingin nila sa'kin (hmpf). Sakay ng Thai Airways (TG) bibit ang ikinahon kong bahay namin, kami'y nagtungo sa Bangkok (kamangha-mangha ang kanilang paliparan). Habang hinihintay ang eroplanong magdadala sa amin sa Abu Dhabi, naupo muna kami habang tinitingnan ang mga *cabin crew at mga taong dumadaan na wari mo'y naliligaw. Walang kaalam-alam si Rasha na tahimik akong nagiisip kung magiging swak ba siyang kasama at iniisip ko ring sayang ang kandilang sana'y libre naming makukuha mula sa King Power. Sa hiya sa bago kong kasama, iilang larawan lang na nasa ibaba ang aking naitabi.
